Democrats Say Tax Bill Will Pass

According to ABC News, President Obama's tax cut compromise will probably pass which would allow tax cuts from the Bush campaign, that were set to expire this month, will allow them to stay for rich and for poor Americans. After defending the plan for three days straight, Democrats are grudgingly starting to accept the fact that the Obama administration had to comply with the needs and wants of the stronger Republican caucus. The Democrats felt that Obama bended too much to the will of the Republicans, but Obama claims it was a necessary exchange otherwise the Republicans would have blocked unemployment extensions for jobless Americans and let taxes rise. Obama warns that if Democrats don't get on the board then we could dip back into recession. This post is significant because it encompasses all of America and calls for us to be aware of what is going on in our government.
